12/25/2023 0 Comments Montana vortex![]() We also played with their poodle puppies that they had. I will agree that he was cute and he meowed a lot, and I like chatty cats. Josh tried his best to talk me into taking Tonka with us. Josh fell in love with Tonka, a munchkin cat who was shaped just like a dachshund except for his front legs were even shorter so it looked like he was going downhill all of the time. Taylor showed us all of her animals including Tinkerbell, her working poodle. They treated us to a nice lunch and we had a great conversation getting caught up on what we each had been doing lately. We drove towards Kalispell and found their house. ![]() Chris and Taylor have kept in touch throughout this time. As I mentioned, we met them on the Coast Starlight three years ago. ![]() We all really enjoyed the tour and Robert our guide for the hour or so.įrom there we headed for the Diehl’s house – specifically to visit with Taylor and her mom Kim. There was a replica of the Oregon House of Mystery to accentuate the effects. Apparently, a guy who had been down at the Oregon site for many years owned this property and moved to Montana to study this particular dynamic. We went through the tour and I will have to say that they did a pretty good job with the site. On the way, we decided to stop by the Montana Vortex House of Mystery just to compare it with the one in Oregon. We set out for a pen-pal of Chris’ that he met on a train trip to California three years ago. It tasted really good especially since it was chilly and wet. We huddled under the rain shelter over the picnic table and made a breakfast of pancakes, eggs, and bacon. We awoke after sleeping through another night of rain – of course, after all we are camping and that is what it does when we camp.
